Safety

If you are already using

This site exists to document research, not to guide use. But people read a site called LSD.com for all sorts of reasons, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.

What this site will not do

It will not tell you what to take, how much, how to combine things, or where to get anything. That is not squeamishness: dosing guidance for unsupervised use of a Schedule I substance is a line this site does not cross, and there is no version of it we would publish well enough to be worth the risk to you.

If someone is in trouble right now

Call emergency services. In the United States that is 911. Most states have a Good Samaritan law giving some protection from possession charges when you call for help at an overdose, and no drug charge is worse than the alternative.

For a mental health crisis in the United States, call or text 988.

Where the actual harm reduction is

Organisations that do this properly, and are not us: DanceSafe publishes drug checking and adulterant information. The Fireside Project runs a psychedelic peer support line. SAMHSA’s National Helpline is free and confidential on 1-800-662-4357, all day and night.

Drug checking matters more than anything a website can tell you. A great deal of what is sold as one substance is another, and the substitutions that hurt people are the ones nobody expected.

A trial is an alternative worth knowing about

If the reason you are considering this is depression, PTSD or addiction that has not responded to treatment, there may be a registered trial recruiting near you. Participation is free, it is supervised, and the substance is what the label says it is.
