lsd-theme, in local storage rather than a cookie. It remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme so the site does not flash the wrong one. Set only if you use the theme toggle, removed if you set it back to Auto, and readable only by this site.

lsd-analytics-consent, also in local storage. It records that you pressed Agree or Decline on the analytics notice, so you are asked once rather than on every page. It holds one word and nothing else.

_ga and _ga_VQW30BTMZV, first-party cookies set by Google Analytics, which counts page views. They hold a randomly generated number that lets two page views in a row be counted as one visit rather than two, and they expire after two years. These are the only cookies this site sets.

In the EU, the UK and Switzerland the Google cookies are not set at all unless you press Agree, and the notice at the foot of the page is where that choice is made. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal they are not set anywhere, and you are not shown the notice. Declining leaves every page working exactly as it does otherwise, because nothing on this site depends on being measured.

No advertising cookies, no third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking. There is no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag and no LinkedIn Insight Tag on any page. Every advertising consent category is refused for every visitor in every country, and Google Signals, the feature that would attach what you read here to a signed-in Google advertising profile, is switched off in the tag itself rather than in a setting.

The distinction is worth stating plainly, because it is the one that matters on this domain: the site measures how many people read a page, and it is built so that nobody can learn which pages you in particular read.

The trial finder stores nothing at all. It fetches a public directory file and filters it in memory. Reloading forgets everything you selected, which is the intended behavior.
